Team News

Just some things we discussed at BP tonight.

- League night is Tuesday night in South Jordan. It is a double header league. 

- BP is scheduled at Clozers Cages the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month at 1pm. Next scheduled is Saturday December 15. We will probably end up going somewhere after wards and having a team meeting once a month to remain on the same page as we head into the tournament season.

- We are officially registered on USSSA.com I will be updating the roster as you send me dates of birth.

Super Bowl - St George, UT

We will be taking a team down to St George for the Super Bowl, Jan 25-27. We would like to avoid the late panic that we experienced with Mesquite. I will keep the list updated here, but please let us know yes or no as soon as you can. Thank you.

Upcoming Tourneys

Here are three tourneys coming up that I would like everyone to take a peak at please.
- May 4th and 5th at Valley - Softball Junkies (USSSA points)
- May 18th and 19th Spanish Fork - C/D NIT (USSSA double points, and possible berth for highest E team)
- May 28th South Jordan - South Jordan Memorial Day Tourney (USSSA)

We have a very deep roster, and I do not expect everyone to make every tournament. For example, I can not make the Spanish Fork tourney, but I think that is an important tournament for our team to play in. Please use the comment section to let me know what tournies you can attend.

Uniform Adjustment

We had to make an adjustment to pant color so we made an adjustment in the jersey design. I hope you guys like.

not sure how well this pic turns out. it is the final backet with scores from the snowball tournament where we outscored our opponents 120-60 in 6 games...where in 2 of those games we scored less than 10 runs...not bad for a days work.

All Day Jersey Buy In

Here are the package options:

2. Jersey, hat and (shorts or pants) - $105 +$5 for shipping

3. Jersey, hat, shorts, and pants - $125 + $5 for shipping

The hat will be a scarlet, fitted wool hat by New Era with the All Day star in white. For shirts list size, pants list waist size, shorts are L-XXL. Also give me your number for jerseys. Need to place the order by Feb 10th in order to have them for Mesquite.

If we manage to save any money by having enough ordered, I will reimburse you personally.

Sandy Snowball Results

What began as a very cold, frozen Friday night ended in a very cold, frozen and muddy Saturdat night. In between were some clutch hitting, some big defensive plays, and a lot of mental toughness and determination to overcome what ever obstacles we had in front of us. I am very proud of our performance, and I am proud that we are a team.

Some highlights:

- the prodigal sons, JJ and Bomb returning to All Day

- Nick Peck destroying the ball Friday

- Matt Comins swing returning

- playing next to a short stop that I can trust

- Steve Ward taking away several hits in the outfield on sliding catches

- Jamie pitching into the sun and completely shutting down a good hitting team

- JJ not getting hurt until the very end

- Matt Marietta playing his first tourney and looking like a total stud

- Tyler overcoming some struggles to hit lights out in the Championship

- a reference to The Notebook

2012 Goals

Our year end goal is to play on Sunday at the Far West World Tournament in Gilbert, AZ. Through the next couple of weeks I will be updating with uniform information as well as tournament information. Please keep an eye on the Calendar in the left hand column, I will update tourney information there.
